We leave today for Vietnam - another trip to teach traditional birth attendants how to resuscitate newborns right after birth. It has been about 10 months of planning and now, in just a few hours, we will be on our way. We are packed and have about 200 pounds of supplies - printed material for the students, blankets and hats to donate, resuscitation supplies to give to our students. All of our personal items are in a small carry on. I think we are ready.
We will be teaching a class called Helping Babies Breathe. More on the class later.
We are again partnering with Global Community Service Foundation (GCSF) to provide this education. Their expertise and support is invaluable and we are so thankful to them.
